In order to better support German companies entering the Chinese market, the BVMW China Service Center Beijing is launching the project to build an industrial park. The Foundation for German and Chinese Culture is providing support.
The International Monetary Fund’s estimate is becoming a reality: China is the only major economy that still managed to post a plus in 2020 despite the Corona pandemic. Thanks to a series of effective measures, the economic situation in China has been brightening since last summer. According to a flash survey conducted by AHK China, around three quarters of companies invested in China expect their sales to increase year-on-year in 2021.
After the economic recovery, the Chinese consumption structure will change even further. With the rising standard of living, the demand for high-quality products is growing, and this is also creating greater demand for international cooperation. With their high quality, German brands are among the most popular products on the Chinese market. Many companies have already anticipated this and are already on their way, for example, Volkswagen re-opened a new R&D center in China in December last year.
In order to better support German companies entering the Chinese market, the Service Center Beijing is launching the project to build an industrial park. This project is also very welcomed and strongly supported by the Chinese government. Advantages such as preferential policies and simplified establishment process can be enjoyed by BVMW members here. And with experienced team, from market research to localization consulting, as well as communication and negotiation with government and partners, including financing are offered.
Location of this park is currently planned in Shenyang city in Northeast China. This historic and industrial city is now home to the aerospace, automotive, machinery, pharmaceutical and food industries. For over seventeen years, BMW and its suppliers have been constantly investing here. The park is located in an industrial area where international companies such as Faurecia and Voestalpine are already established. From the park, BMW can be reached in about 20 minutes, train station in 15 minutes and airport in 30 minutes. With total space of approximately 130,000 m2, the park invites interested companies to locate there. A Sino-German Center with 8500m2 will be established for this purpose, so that all services can be provided better on site. German companies from all industries are welcome to the park.
