The Berman Brothers, consisting of the two brothers Frank Berman and Christian Beerman, are an internationally successful German music producer and composer duo. Among others, they have worked with Real McCoy, Coldplay, Sting, Baha Men, Sophie B. Hawkins, Hanson, the Buena Vista Social Club and many others. Their work has been recognized with more than 90 times gold and platinum awards, two BMI awards, one Golden Globe nomination and one Grammy award. Praised by the NY Times, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, the Huff Post, Forbes, Billboard, The Guardian and many others.

“Contemporary musical life in China is probably best described as part of a global musical scene and a global music industry – with thoroughly local, and sometimes national, manifestations (Henningsen, 2009).” The common language of music connects across borders and effortlessly overcome the difficulties of a foreign culture. With this in mind, Berman Brothers and the German and Chinese Culture Foundation came together to discuss future musical collaboration by nurturing talent from China and Europe.
